Valerie Beckert
Accountant
Valerie has been the Holy Name School accountant since 2008. Prior to coming to work at HNS, Valerie volunteered in the classrooms and library, was a PTO officer and a member of the Holy Name School Council. She helped to start and run the Tuition Rebate Program back in 2006. She is a graduate of HNS, as were her parents and grandparents. Her three daughters were the fourth generation in her family to graduated from Holy Name -- Helen-HNS Class of 2008; Evelyn (Evie) - HNS Class of 2009; and Anne - HNS Class of 2011.
Valerie graduated with a degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky and is a huge fan of the Wildcat teams, especially basketball. Go Cats! After living and working in Louisville for a number of years, Valerie and her husband, Tom, decided to raise their family in her hometown of Henderson.
"We felt that God was calling us back to Henderson and to the Holy Name Parish community. Getting involved in my church and school as an adult has resulted in an abundance of blessings too many to count! God is so good!"
Valerie is part of the Lectio Divina (bible study) group at HNS, the treasurer of the HNS Fall Festival, a member of the HNS Alumni Committee and a member of the Holy Name Parish Finance Committee.
