Information on how to register a new student at Holy Name School is listed below. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the school at 827-3425, and we would be glad to help you through the process.

  • February – The school hosts a Come and See night for families to meet the faculty and student ambassadors, tour the school, and receive information packets about the school.
  • March – Open registration begins for new families. Typically the first Monday of March, families come to the school office and complete the application for enrollment.
  • April – Families receive letters of acceptance or letters of being placed on a waiting list.
  • July – Late in the month, the school schedules parent orientation nights. The meetings begin in the cafeteria and then breakout to the child's homeroom/grade level teacher(s).
  • August – Typically the Sunday before the first day of school, an Open House for families is scheduled. This open house provides an opportunity for children to meet their teachers and visit their classrooms as well as the gym, cafeteria, and library.

Registration Guidelines for Holy Name Catholic School

1. Current families attending our school may register both current and new students for the upcoming school year. This includes both parish sponsored families and non-parish sponsored families. Please look for registration information in the mail at the end February .

2. Registration for new families will begin at 9 AM in the school office on Monday of the week of registration. The dates for the registration will be posted in the Church bulletin several weeks in advance and the dates will be advertised in The Gleaner .

3. New students will be registered in the following order: Holy Name Catholic Church sponsored families being accepted first, then other Catholic families from other parishes, and finally non-parish sponsored families of faiths other than Catholic.

4. In the event we need two classes for the Pre-K 3 or 5-days-a-week programs, the following guidelines will be followed: The school will attempt to place all students in the am/pm program requested by the parent. We will once again follow the above procedures in establishing the am/pm programs. (Families who are already attending as parish sponsored and non-parish sponsored will be placed first, then new Holy Name Catholic Church sponsored families, then other Catholic parish families, and finally new non-parish sponsored families of faiths other than Catholic).

5. A waiting list will be created once a grade level has reached the maximum number of students set by the school council.

6. Completing the application papers for a new student at Holy Name School does not guarantee admission into the school.
