HELPING SECURE
CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
The school tree, donated in memory of James and Dorothy Wathen on May 25, 2001,
is not only a beautiful piece of art,
but lists the names of donors who so generously have given to the Holy Name
School Endowment. The future of
Holy Name School is in good hands. You can make a difference and insure
the best for our next generation of students
by giving generously now. Please prayerfully consider supporting
Holy Name School's endowment fund.
Shel Silverstein wrote a book called The Giving Tree that offers an interpretation
of the gift of giving.
Holy Name School's foyer has a beautiful bronze tree that has become a symbol of
giving to future generations of
Catholic school students.

Sincerely in Christ,
As many of you know,
I spent most of my life being involved with Catholic education.
I have been a student, teacher, Dean, Principal, Priest-Pastor,
and now currently serve as Pastor of Holy Name Church.
I encourage anyone who is interested in learning more about securing
the future of our school to contact our principal to see how a
charitable gift to our school endowment will help our students today and tomorrow.
Fr. J. Edward Bradley

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT
THE ENDOWMENT FUND
The Holy Name School endowment fund was created with the future in mind.
What started less than a decade
ago, as a dream, is slowly becoming a reality. With contributions from the public, our monetary goal is one million dollars.
We will not draw from this fund until $1,000,000 is raised. With the principal from that money, Holy Name School with
be able to provide supplemental funds for operations, such as employee salary enhancements, capital needs at the school,
and tuition assistance for financially disadvantaged families.

However, the endowment's board of trustees reserves the right to decline any potential gift if its acceptance
not be in the best interest of Holy Name School or if its acceptance would place an undue burden on Holy Name School.

Yes. If a particular program within the school is of interest to you or your family and
you designate your gift to support that program, then the income generated by your donation will be

The endowment fund is overseen by a board of trustees with knowledge of the needs of Holy Name School.
By pooling your gift with the gifts of others, the assets are able to be managed more efficiently, thus
providing greater income to the school.
